DESCRIPTION:An in-conversation with Dame Laura Lee and Lily Jencks\nSit in with Maggie’s CEO\, Dame Laura Lee DBE\, and the design team behind the upcoming Maggie’s centre in Dumfries and Galloway centre\, Lily Jencks (Cosmic House\, The Jencks Foundation) and Roz Barr (Roz Barr Architects)\, as they talk through the legacy\, impact and future of the pioneering organisation using design and architecture to better cancer care. They are joined by V&A Dundee senior curator Meredith More. \nThis special event has been developed in connection to our current exhibition\, Maggie’s: Architecture that Cares\, which celebrates 30 years of the organisation’s groundbreaking approach to design and care. Combining service user experience with globally renowned architects and garden designers\, Maggie’s centres aim to provide support spaces away from the clinical environment.
