LIMITED TIME ONLY

UNESCO City of Design Dundee’s dedicated window space exhibits the amazing work produced by Design Lives Here supporters from across Dundee, the UK’s first and only UNESCO City of Design. Design Lives Here is UNESCO City of Design Dundee’s supporter scheme showcasing designers, organisations and businesses from across the city who celebrate design’s power to solve problems and improve lives.

The disposable nature of modern shop frontages contributes to the forgotten skill of creative signage. Designed by Agency of None for Dundee Design Festival 2019, and created by Solas, Scotland’s only in-house neon signage workshop, ‘LIMITED TIME ONLY’ celebrates the creative power of light as it brings vibrancy and warmth to dark corners.

Dundee Design Festival 2019 was produced by Agency of None and hosted within the Keiller Centre, a now closed shopping centre in the heart of the city. The graphic identity for the festival, as seen in this installation, drew inspiration from the venue’s 1970s architecture and vintage confectionary packaging by the centre’s namesake, James Keiller & Son.

Agency of None is a creative design studio based in Dundee, Scotland. Established in 2018, they’ve worked with clients all over the world creating traditional design projects for identity and communication as well as producing two iterations of Dundee Design Festival.
