Beginner Handbuilding Jugs, Pitchers & Carafe’s

During the class you’ll be taught a variety of handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling and using slabs. The class is suitable for all abilities and you’ll be supported every step of the way to create your desired vessel.

All materials, tuition and firings are included in the price – we’ll aim to make one mid sized jug but if you’re speedy you can make some mini ones too. At the end of the session you can have a look through our test tiles and choose the perfect glaze to complement your favourite summer drinks. We’ll fire them as hot as the sun (just kidding, they’ll be bisque fired to 1000’c and then glaze fired to 1240’c) and then they’ll be ready to wow your guests at any occasion!
