Our newest tutor, Ekaterina, will guide you through each fundamental technique during her upcoming 4 week course. Running on Monday evenings, it’s perfect for those looking for an after work activity. During the course you’ll pinch, coil and slab build your very own set of mugs!

Come and learn the fundamentals of handbuilding in this in-depth course which will teach you everything you need to make incredible pieces of your own. Each week we will go into depth about different handbuilding techniques, and by the end of the course you will have made your new favourite mug from start to finish.

Week 2 (12/05/2025) – Coil pots
Week 3 (19/05/2025) – Slab building
Week 4 (02/06/2025) – Decorating with glazes and underglaze
Everything you make will be fired in our kiln and will be ready to collect a few weeks after the course has ended.
