Introduction to Wild Clay with Kristina Gondová

Dundee Ceramic Workshop’s ‘Introduction to Wild Clay’ is a hands-on, small-group workshop led by artist and ceramicist Kristina Gondová. Explore how to find, test and process wild clay, learning simple techniques to transform raw earth into usable material and slips. You’ll then use these to decorate a selection of ceramic pieces, working intuitively with materials gathered from the landscape. Suitable for beginners and ceramicists alike, this workshop offers a focused introduction to foraging and working with natural materials. Participants will leave with their own wild clay slip, a decorated cup and bowl, and new ways of thinking about clay and place.
