Learn about shapes and patterns with the art of textiles. In this free workshop, a designer will guide you in creating your own collage of shapes inspired by nature and craft.
We will share stories about traditions in Dundee and Palestine, such as cross-stitch and tatreez.
The workshop is inspired by a free exhibition at Scotland’s Design Museum, V&A Dundee – Thread Memory: Embroidery from Palestine. Everyone who joins the workshop will receive a free bus ticket to the exhibition.
