Remembering Together is a national project where community memorials will be co-created across Scotland to honour the people we have lost, mark what has changed in our lives and preserve the best of what we have learned together during the Covid pandemic.
This project aims to bring together people from the Dundee community to define what ‘memorial’ means to them and how this space can help them remember their beloved ones.
Design Studio, Around Zero, will work collaboratively with communities to make this a healing process where individuals can express their experiences and help others by creating a relevant outcome that can positively impact their lives.
FREE, DROP-IN SESSIONS AT V&A DUNDEE ON SUNDAY 10 JULY, 11AM-4PM
Around Zero will be holding drop-in sessions at V&A Dundee on Sunday 10th July. These start on the hour between 11am-4pm. They will last for approximately 45 minutes, with a 15 min break between groups.
These are free and welcome for any age to attend, however some of the experiences shared may be quite upsetting for younger audiences. There will be a registered counsellor present to support these sessions.
No registration is required however these hourly slots will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
In these sessions, Design Studio Around Zero will ask individuals about their experiences during the Covid pandemic and how they faced it. These stories will help to contribute towards creating a memorial for the city. We would love to hear from you.
