Do you have a photo which represents your experience during the Covid pandemic? Can you describe the lockdown and the peak of the Covid pandemic in one picture?
Designers Ana & Vinishree are asking people across Dundee to share one picture that represents their experience during Covid. It could be an image that reminds you of something that happened or could be about the people, places or activities that were important during those times.
Photos that have already been shared include pictures of empty shelves, pets, making pasta, discovering new places, parks, and spending time with family. You can share whatever was important to you.
The photos will be used as part of the development of Dundee’s Covid Memorial and will help to get a collective understanding of what symbolises people’s experiences in Dundee during Covid.
How to share your photo?
To share your photo with us either post on social media and tag @designdundee or use #rememberingDundee or you can email it direct to hello@around-zero.com
Make sure you tell us what the photo is of or what it means to you.
By sharing your photo with us, you are permitting it to be used in a public showcase and will contribute to the research and design of the Dundee Covid Community Memorial.

About Remembering Together
This activity is part of Remembering Together, a national project led by Greenspace Scotland where community memorials will be co-created across Scotland to honour the people we have lost, mark what has changed in our lives and preserve the best of what we have learned together during the Covid pandemic.
The impact of Covid 19 on our lives has been significant. For many people the lockdown experience and being away from friends and family have made them value their relationships; for others, the pandemic was a challenging time that led them to reconstruct their lives. Since then, we have changed, and we have learned. We would like to know your Covid story to help build a collective, inclusive memorial for Dundee.
