We are excited to bring you a number of free online design activities produced by local artists and designers that you can do from home with the whole family!
Back in March 2020, when the UK went into its first national lockdown, sadly leading us to make the difficult decision of cancelling Dundee Design Parade 2020, we decided to continue working with our artists and designers to bring you fun, design activities that you could do from home, instead of losing the design workshops that so many of you had signed up for.
We know just how many young people and their group leaders/teachers were looking forward to participating in Dundee Design Parade 2020, so we hope you enjoy these online design workshops that you can do with objects lying around your home!
To get started, you will need pens or pencils, scissors, glue, old t-shirts and recycled cardboard. These online workshops are suitable for all ages, but we would recommend adult supervision. You don’t have to live in Dundee or have previously taken part in a design workshop to join in.
