Mitchell & Black have always shared a passion for textiles having both gained honours degrees in Constructed Textile Design. They became particularly drawn towards knitted textiles through our roles as technicians within the Design and Craft Programme at Duncan of Jordanstone College. Working within DJCAD provides an energetic and creative environment and constantly feeds our design process. Passionate about knit because of its spontaneous nature, Mitchell & Black love being able to make wearable, functional pieces from a simple cone of yarn.
