Oh For Print's Sake

A bold and beautiful Risograph print celebrating the iconic Keiller’s Marmalade which was created in Dundee by James and Janet Keiller. An ode to one of the famous three J’s (Jute, Jam and Journalism) – this print puts a quirky twist on a Dundonian treasure. This is a two colour, limited edition Risograph, printed in beautiful fluorescent orange and teal inks. Being true to her roots, both as a designer and Scot, Rhianne Connelly’s desire is to craft beautiful prints that celebrate Scottish quirks and heritage. Dundonian history is a huge influence on Rhianne’s design practice and she love being able to share our city’s past in new and alternative ways. Being drawn to bold patterns, playful typography and pops of colour in my print design, Rhianne sees the design process as a craft and creates prints that are a real labour of love. Rhianne says “There’s a renewed sense of community spirit in Dundee, something which I aim to embrace within my work by creating a fresh twist on our Dundonian uniqueness. My prints are there to spark conversation and shine a spotlight on our past.”
