David McLeish's degree show work in 2018 was all about reimagining Dundee as a holiday resort town, so as such had a lot of Dundee’s history, character and sense of humour engrained within it and the souvenirs he made for the gift shop installation. Since then David has continued to make Dundee-centric designs and physical items, borne of a love for the city he was born and has continuously lived in. The Skelt in Skeltmilk is from Dundonian for skell, to spill (skelt as the past tense).
